From Yarn
to Sweater

How a premium knitwear piece is made — walked through, step by step, with our team.

Prologue

Founded in 1984 in Puyuan, Tongxiang, our knitwear factory is built around two things: German Stoll computerized flat knitting machines, and an in-house pattern room of senior pattern makers. The rest of this page is the journey a premium knit takes through that factory — start to finish.

01
The Brief

It begins as an idea — and ends as a sample.

Whether you arrive with a complete tech pack or just an inspiration image, the journey starts in our in-house pattern room. Senior pattern makers and experienced garment technicians translate the idea into a working sample.

First samples typically come back within ~2 weeks. We support both OEM and ODM development.

The Yarn

The character of a knit lives in the yarn.

We work with client-designated brand yarns, and maintain long-term partnerships with quality suppliers. Sample swatches and sourcing recommendations are part of the early conversation.

From luxury fibers to everyday classics — wool, cashmere, cotton, silk, linen, and blends — we cover the full material range.

The Knit

Then it goes onto a Stoll.

50+ German Stoll CMS computerized flat knitting machines, covering the full gauge range from E1.5 to E18 — from heavy chunky knits to ultra-fine gauge fabrics. Hundreds of original designs every month.
